In the latest and greatest 3 Dates news, we have been given an opportunity to share the film with the Juilliard community and select industry professionals at the First Annual Juilliard Film Festival, Sunday, March 30th @ 2pm. The Juilliard FilM Festival was founded by 18 Actors and 3 Dates stars Mallory Portnoy and Max Woertendyke as well as fellow Juilliard students and filmmakers Ryan Spahn and Alex Breaux.
We cordially invite you to attend The Juilliard Film Festival 2014; featuring five original films written, produced, starring, or directed by current students and alumni.
With a Q&A moderated by Michael Urie (Group 32), we look to celebrate the Juilliard community’s work in the medium of film.

Three Dates – A sweet and charming etude, “3 Dates” follows a trio of young couples on three very different ‘dates’, which are simultaneously occurring in New York City. Deftly moving between scenarios and styles of comedy, “3 Dates” flirts and dances with the ever changing faces of love in our 21st century–without missing a beat.” Starring Group 44 members Justin Barnes, Adam Langdon, Vella Lovell, Mallory Portnoy, Rowan Vickers, Mary Wiseman and Max Woertendyke. Directed and Produced by Max Woertendyke (Group 44).
Hotline – On the verge of suicide, Connor (Alex Breaux, Group 43) – a combat medic – wrestles with flashbacks from Afghanistan and calls a veterans outreach center. A crisis line in action, Hotline tells the harrowing story between a soldier struggling in his return from war and a first responder (Virginia Veale, Group 41) fighting to help him. Written and directed by Alex Breaux (Group 43).
Grantham & Rose – Seventeen-year-old Grantham (Jake T. Austin) struggles to find his way as a man when a spontaneous road trip thrusts him into the care of a feisty eighty-one-year-old African-American woman named Rose (Golden Globe and Emmy nominee, Marla Gibbs). Written & Produced by Ryan Spahn and Executive Produced by Michael Urie (Group 32).
